How does the process work? 

Very simply.  The client transmits payroll information such as hours worked, pay increases, miscellaneous types of incomes and deductions, new hires, terminations, etc. to BPS by telephone, fax or email.  The changes become immediate, or upon the direction of the client.  BPS processes payroll, prints payroll checks with detailed stubs, client reports, determines tax liability and sends the entire package to the client.  

At the end of each quarter, BPS prepares all required reports and delivers them to the client for a signature.

BPS also offers direct deposit of payroll and signature service for payroll checks.

Are the payroll checks written from my account?

Yes.  The client provides BPS with a copy of a voided check from the account which the client wishes to use for payroll purposes.  If the client wishes to maintain only one account, BPS will vary check numbers so that the client easily recognizes which checks are payroll checks.

Are my checks and payroll information secure?

At all times.  All employees of BPS are screened and continually monitored for security purposes.  Checks are printed as needed and are continually in the custody of a trained BPS employee.  Payroll information is password protected and available only to the BPS employees assigned to that particular client and the owners of the company.

BPS delivers the payroll package only to the person designated by the client to receive it and in a tamper resistant, sealed envelope.

How quickly can I get my payroll package ?

Payroll packages are typically available the same day as payroll detail is transmitted. (The next business day if transmitted after 3:00 P.M.)  The client may pick up the package at the offices of BPS that day or wait until the next day for delivery by courier if within established geographic limits.  Packages are also sent by regular or priority mail depending on the client's location and payday.

I do my own payroll but I would like a service for quarterly reports and W-2s. Does BPS provide that service as well?

How does your direct deposit program work?

We electronically transfer funds from the clients account into the employees' account(s) using the security of the Federal Reserve ACH Banking system.  It is extremely secure and reliable, and a wonderful benefit to offer to your employees.  There is a small per payroll charge. more....

Tell me about your internet payroll services?

This is a recently renovated service designed to provide those employers with internet access to their payroll information at home, office or while out of town.  Registration is required.

Registered users merely log in and then may complete a number of payroll related tasks from adding employees to transmitting payroll exceptions to viewing past payroll information.  

Coupled with direct deposit, BPS can handle payroll for any business throughout the United States.  Payroll exceptions can be transmitted day or night from anywhere in the world.  Registration is required.
